LIVE PAINTING

Every month, I’ll be live painting at Old Town Timber in beautiful St. Augustine, FL. While I bring my art to life, you can explore the incredible craftsmanship of the Old Town Timber team.

They specialize in salvaging wood from historic buildings throughout the area — beams, planks, and architectural elements that hold centuries of stories. Each piece is carefully restored and transformed into stunning furniture, décor, and custom installations, preserving the spirit of St. Augustine’s history while giving the wood a new purpose.

Stop by to watch me work, discover one-of-a-kind pieces, and see how history is being preserved through both art and woodworking.

Live Painting

Im excited to invite you to a special evening of art, energy, and connection. Join us for a live painting session at the beautiful space at Old Town Timber, where you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at my creative process in real time.

Alongside the live piece, I’ll also be exhibiting three of my original paintings — a chance to experience my work up close in a setting that blends raw texture, natural materials, and urban energy.

This event is free to attend and open to all lovers of art, design, and wood lovers. Whether you’re a collector, fellow creative, or just curious — come hang out, connect, and be part of the vibe.

I’ll update this page with more details as we get closer — but mark your calendars now. Can’t wait to see you there.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Honored to see my mural Echoes of the Tocobaga Tribe featured on the cover of the 2025 Tampa Downtown Partnership Annual Report — representing unity, transformation, and the spirit of Tampa’s evolving story.

Huge gratitude to the Partnership for elevating local artists and investing in our creative community.

In 2011, while studying Industrial Design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, I set out to explore automotive design. The result was “The Hornet” — The strength and stance of my concept SUV I designed, inspired a high heel sculpted for other half of the vehicle PROJECT.

This high heel was awarded Best in Show in shoe design at Pratt and later archived in the Schools Art of Design space, recognized for its innovation, form study, and unexpected fusion of disciplines. Although the original digital link is no longer available, this project stands as a cornerstone of my design journey—showing how function, storytelling, and bold identity can live in a single object.

His story is told in his art and Alex knows that only by listening and learning from others in the industry, can he grow and fulfill his life’s dream. While Alex struggles financially concentrating solely on his art, for now, he believes in it and hopes to find others who also believe in him enough to offer guidance, critique, support, and encouragement.
